The WRIGHT Stuff
WRIGHT by Thaddeus® is an excellent example of an everyday item elevated to a stylish classic, without taking itself too seriously. Here we knit our own heather yarns with spandex to create a French Terry pull-on short that is both soft and sturdy. The heather adds dimension and softness. The spandex tightens up the fabric adding both sturdiness and even more softness. Sounds like opposing forces? Not the way we do it. There is a pin tuck that runs from waistband to hem in the center front of each leg; it’s subtle, but it separates this short from the pack. We add deep pockets at the sides and an outlined zip patch pocket at the back. There is a working coin pocket in front, framed in the same heather but this time knit in pique for textural contrast. The waistband is knit in tonal contrast by adding white in a twist with the base heather color. We anchor the drawstring with two bar tacks at the back of the waistband so it won’t slip away. Even the grommets in the waistband and the aiglets on the tips of the drawstring are thought out: the color is antique nickel, and the Thaddeus logo and our 8 Point Star embossed as identifiers.

Printed Paisley Shorts for a Touch of Fun
PIERCE by Thaddeus® gives our guy the ability to wear something different without leaving his comfort zone. This soft printed flat front twill walk short fits just right: trim not tight, with a 10 in inseam—just the right length for now. Two deep front pockets and two welt back pockets maintain the short’s clean shape. A full curtain and extra flap and button on the inside ensures the smooth flat front keeps its modern fit.
