Buttons Up
McAdams by Thaddeus® reminds the wearer and his friends that summer weather is finally here! The slub jersey cotton adds high/low texture to the seasonal colors. The open collar adds relaxation to the conversation. The button up front opens possibilities and the curved shirttail bottom adds a touch of whimsy. Cocktail anyone?

V LIKE THIS SOFT TEE
We knit soft-to-the-touch cotton/poly jersey for DEX by TADD® short sleeve V-neck tee, and when we garment dye it, each component takes the dye tonally to create a special washed-down heather. We use the same yarn to knit the matching short rib for the neck. The spade-point patch pocket is from the same jersey as the body. We finish with tonal chain stitching at the sleeve and bottom hems.

PAUL the POLO
Paul by Thaddeus® is our single best selling garment for a number of good reasons. We start with soft cotton that we knit with 5% elastic for stretch and comfort. That gives us a fabric that takes the dye really well. In the design room, we call that color saturation. We wash down the colors just a bit for a slight weathered effect. We use woven pique at the collar stand for more stability which gives our spread collar and little firmer stance and expression. We split the tails at the lower sides and reinforce them for a little extra ease. There is a back yoke for a touch of tailoring and comfort across the shoulder which makes the whole shirt hang just right. We must be doing several things right because our clients keep buying Paul in color after color after color.

RAW EDGES…AT THE COLLAR
AL by TADD® is not for everyone. But If you are bored with the “same old, same old,” we suggest that this rugged, weathered, soft-handed short sleeve T-Shirt with raw edges at the collar trim is a pretty terrific alternative. The trim is sewn down so it won’t unravel away, but the color will stay faded, and the high/low from the slub is knitted right into the fabric. Say hello to your new rough and ready buddy.

SHORT SLEEVE POLO WITH A NEW TWIST
We approached our Short Sleeve Polo ESTES by TADD® a little differently than others might. After we dye this knit cotton pique short sleeve polo, which takes the dye really well, we wash it down just a bit for a vintage look. Inside the collar and the placket, we use woven poplin that shrinks just a little less than the pique, so we get that matte high/low effect. Concave metal buttons and contrast stitching add to this non-traditional approach to a polo. We frame the pocket in a three side surround and use a button-through flap, overlock stitching, and bar tacks to make it our own. It has already become very popular with guys who like to put a spin on tradition. Some customers buy this in multiple colors; others go deep in their favorite color.
